Group Financial Controller, St Albans
£65,000 - £70,000 plus benefits
Our client, an exciting market leading organisation, is looking to source a dynamic and ambitious Group Financial Controller to join their impressive team. This organisation is a genuinely excellent company that I swell-known in the local area for looking after their staff. They are currently experiencing an exciting period and this role will be at the helm of the growth strategy.
Main duties include:
*Reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP
*Reviewing and improving processes
*Preparing Tax compliance
*Managing the yearend audit process
*Completing VAT returns
*Producing consolidated and audited financial statements
*Manage and support 1 direct report
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with at least 2 years' experience working within a similar, fast-paced role. You must be able to demonstrate strong technical accounting skills and ideally have management experience. A strong understanding of system implementations would be advantageous, although not essential. You will be self motivated and possess the drive and ability to assess and improve current procedures. This position involves managing one direct report so excellent communication and organisational skills are crucial to succeed in this capacity.
