This unique role would be based within the Internal Audit team at a Top 10 Accountancy practice. Your role would be to assist members of the department with internal audit team and advise clients.

Description
Your duties will include:
- Working towards professional qualification (PII/ACA/ACCA)
- Working in different sectors such as the financial sector, insurance, public (central government) and other private sectors.
- Planning and prioritising projects
- Adding value to their clients' businesses
- Achieve utilisation of at least 70% on an annual basis
- Attend the firm's quarterly technical training seminars
- Be aware of the firm's risk management and practice assurance procedures and ensure compliance
- Ensure continuing professional development is kept up to date
- Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day
- Maintain good relationship with clients
- Respond to and deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide on the job training and guidance to more junior team members throughout the assignment process
- Allocate work of an appropriate level and supervise junior team members
- Develop an awareness of the firm's billing procedures, including charge out rates, budgeting and calculation of recovery rates
Profile
- Working towards professional qualification (PIIA) or accountancy qualification
- Proven relevant experience, gained in a similar auditing role. Top 20 firm experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in working in different sectors, public (central government) and private sectors.
- Competent at using Microsoft applications
- Working knowledge of VISION (will be trained in this)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Able to influence internal / external clients and colleagues
- Has proven planning and prioritising skills
- Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus
- Able to demonstrate problem solving skills
- Keen to add value to our clients' businesses
- An aptitude to learn new IT systems - on the job training will be provided
