Treasury and Tax Manager

Our client, a major financial services business based in Birmingham is seeking a Treasury and Tax Manager to join the team. The business is going through a period of growth with ambitions for further growth.
Responsibilities:
*Responsible for Treasury Governance in accordance business unit policies and procedures.
*Preparation and accounting entries for financing activities, agreeing monthly cash flow requirements with business unit, ensuring business unit reporting completed in a timely manner, ensuring any changes in funding structures are implemented and run in an efficient manner. Provide guidance, advice and data to assist pricing and risk management as necessary.
*Work stream Lead for all Business unit projects and initiatives.
*Work stream Lead for securitisation project management. Liaison with business unit counterparts in assessment, delivery and post implementation phases. Monthly reporting and monitoring of Finance controls on all business unit projects and initiatives post implementation.
*To provide tax support to finance, responsible for monthly tax reporting, preparation of corporation tax computations, liaising with group tax department in relation to compliance and planning matters and ad hoc tax projects
The Ideal candidate would have the following:
*Fully qualified, Treasury qualifications (ACT), Relevant Professional Tax CTA, Accounting Qualifications ACA/ACCA
*Asset Management & Liability and treasury background and core skills in treasury matters
*Sound knowledge of VAT would be desirable
