Robertson Bell Finance are recruiting an Interim Payroll Supervisor to work within a leading not for profit organisation based in London. This role will be for a period of 12 months on a fixed term contract basis.
Reporting to the Payroll and Payments Manager, you will be responsible in ensuring an efficient and effective delivery of payroll for circa 1500 employees is maintained.
As the Interim Payroll Supervisor, you will supervise a team of four within the finance and payroll team. The main responsibilities will include supervising the payroll officers in the completion of payroll, as well as providing expert advice and resolution to any budget holder queries. Main duties will involve dealing with all returns including P11d completion and submission; managing direct debit collections and submission to HMRC; overseeing grant applications and reconciling accounts. As key point of contact within the payroll team, you will develop solid relationships with colleagues across the organisation, liaising with various level of audience.
The ideal candidate for this post will be CIPP qualified or qualified by experience, with a proven ability in running and administering payrolls. You will have previous experience of managing staff and communicating with senior managers and non-finance stakeholders. Having a flexible and committed attitude to work is key. Being a proficient user of Microsoft Office is essential, with prior use of Northgate, Access Dimensions or Focal Point being advantageous.
