Do you have immediate availability or will be available to undertake a 6 months fixed term contract in Scarborough? Just think, fresh sea air, no pollution and no traffic jams! You need to be qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA , have excellent analytical skills and preferably a commercial finance background.

THE ROLE
-Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager to purpose of the role is to provide cover for a member of staff working on secondment in a special project
-You will be involved in trade investment management, developing and maintaining controls and procedures and also maintaining accuracy of the pricing system
-Reporting and analysis, make sure governance and control is maintained and be able to coach colleagues within the division to ensure the delivery of KPIs

THE CANDIDATE
-ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) you need to have a high standard of systems literacy and excellent analytical skills
-As this is a fixed term contract for six months you need to be available either immediately or in the very near future and undertake to complete the length of the contract
-A big company background is desirable but the right approach, self confidence and strong communication skills are more important
-Advanced Excel skills and demonstrable previous accounting skills are essential therefore this position is not suitable for those candidates who have not had previous practical accounting experience

THE BENEFITS:
-This is a fixed term contract for approximately six months with a salary of £40,000 - £42,000 pro rata
