Description

As an Assistant Accountant you will be reporting into the Divisional Management Accountant, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Assist with monthly reconciliations, preparation of accruals and ad hoc financial analysis as required, Assist in the preparation of month end management accounts, Produce and issue monthly Overhead Spend Analysis Reports by department including analysis of significant variance to budget and forecast, Preparation of Weekly Cash Forecast, Manage the Employee Expense Claim process, Complete and submit quarterly VAT return, Assist with costing requests from the Sales Team, Assist in the annual budget process, as well as periodic forecasting throughout the year, Invoicing and support and cover for accounts payable and banking.

The successful candidate will:

• Have worked in an accounts role previously - Essential
• Have a theoretical understanding of management accounts - Essential
• Be studying towards an accounting qualification - Essential
• Have strong excel skills - Essential
• Be a team player - Essential

Salary up to £24,000 + study support + 20 days holiday + pension + on site parking
