We are currently recruiting for a Project Accountant to join an impressive organisation based in Colchester on a 6-month fixed term contract.
The role is predominately a management accounting and cost accounting position so strong communication skills are essential.
The main responsibilities include the following:
- Preparation and production of monthly management accounts;
- Significant experience with budgets, forecasts and analysis of financial information;
- Preparation of annual budgets;
- Providing suitable financial KPI's and reporting at all levels;
- Preparation of reports including variance analysis of actual to prior month forecasts, budgets;
- Project accounting for IT projects including those on behalf of business partners;
- Reconciliation of control and costing accounts.
Key Skills:
- Qualified Accountant with substantial post qualification experience
- Strong knowledge and experience particularly in management accounting
- Ability to motivate and influence
- Highly organised, diligent and proactive
You will be adept at working to tight deadlines, have the ability to communicate at all levels both internally and externally, and available on an immediate basis.
