Commercial Accountant

A Commercial Accountant is required to support a market leading business due to recent acquisition and subsequent expansion. Although this position will be on a fixed term contract of 6 months, there is genuine potential of a longer-term requirement or permanency for the successful individual.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will act as a business partner to support key internal stakeholders including non-financial departmental managers. Therefore, you will be confident in communicating at all levels and delivering meaningful financial information contributing to profit maximisation. Your remit will include budgeting and forecasting activities, ad hoc reporting to the Board and providing recommendations for process improvement.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate a high degree of commercial acumen as well as proven examples of process enhancement and efficiency control. Strong systems skills are essential including Excel and other ERP/reporting tools.
