Finance Manager

My client are an established FTSE listed media business located in Central London. They are seeking to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager for their team on a permanent basis.

You will be joining an established shared service centre and for a reputable brand - that are a leader in their sector.

Your duties will include managing a team of 7;

Oversee the day-to-day running of the UK transactional Finance Function:

• Maintain the Purchase and Sales Ledger functions
• Produce reports on KPIs for PL and SL
• Review accounts receivable and payable on complex, high value or high risk transactions,
• Manage relationship with bank and other insurance providers
• Review of BS control account reconciliations
• Provide analysis on FX P&L movements and maintenance on rates
• UK VAT and MOSS returns, monthly and quarterly collation and submission
• Review the cashbooks and bank reconciliations
• Review of Aged Debtors
• Provide monthly exchange rates for the group, communicate to the business
• Manage the treasury requirements
• Bank and Cash reconciliations
• Maintain internal controls and processes
• Ad hoc requirements as required by the Head of Finance

This role shall suit;

• A Qualified Accountant
• An individual with transactional processing experience
• A proven leader -ability to manage a team of varying ability
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong MS Excel skills
