Project Accountant

My client, an award winning PLC construction business are recruiting a Project Accountant for a highly visible role within its Southern Counties operating division, based in Basingstoke. The finance function is expanding to meet the demands of a thriving business with ambitious growth plans.

Reporting directly into the Operations Finance Director, the role will provide assurance to the wider Group by performing business process reviews/internal audits and managing business projects from design to implementation, together with business reporting.

The role requires extensive travel between divisional offices across England and Wales, with time spent at each site conducting effective reviews of operations, finance and commercial activities. Outside of audits, regular team meetings will be held at the Group’s Head Office in the North West.  

Ideally suited to an ambitious, ACA/ACCA qualified, first time mover from practice, this is the perfect opportunity to move into an exciting industry that offers genuine career progression.

You will need to have extensive experience of managing business reviews and adding value through process improvements and reporting. Excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for building and maintaining effective working relationships, both internal and external are also a must.
