• Are you a self-motivated and commercially strong Credit Manager who would welcome the opportunity to make a name for yourself in a Group role within an exciting, acquisitive, cash-rich, corporate business?
• Are you a bold communicator with the ability to continuously work to maximum potential whilst driving forward the performance of direct reports and fellow employees?
• Are you committed to the achievement of operational excellence, both business and self-improvement, and the highest level of customer service?
• Are you outgoing and fun to work with? The type of person with a strong drive for accomplishment, with a strong sense of pride in their work?

If so, we'd love to hear from you. Our client is a £40m+ t/o highly regarded professional services business who have doubled their growth in the last year, and with further expansion and acquisitions planned, are set to continue their prosperity. Based in the European Head office (Stockport area) this is an exciting Group Credit Manager opportunity to take responsibility for the existing 8 strong credit control operation and to support and develop the existing team and credit control processes to meet current/evolving company demands. With responsibility for the core business and 2 subsidiaries, you will be operating in a 'hands on' role. Your remit will be to ensure optimum debt collection, cash flow and DSO control through ensuring your team operate to the highest standard across the full credit control cycle through from opening and credit scoring new customer accounts through to litigation. You will also work closely with the managers of the customer service and aftersales teams to develop a culture of continuous improvement and invoice query/dispute prevention and a unified approach to developing strong customer relationships and debt control.

Our client is interested in applicants who have managed and developed large credit control functions (it is envisaged the successful applicant could be managing a larger team as the company expands). As Group Credit Manager, you will gain experience of expanding into new markets, as well as understanding the challenges this presents from a risk and credit control perspective. Applicants will preferably be ICM Qualified although experience is more important and non-qualified Credit Managers who meet this brief will also be considered. This is a high profile, autonomous role reporting into the Finance Director and Board.

Aside from the kind of structure you might expect form a world-class, rapidly growing business - detailed job descriptions, appraisal process, KPI's - you can also expect clear measurables for professional development, training opportunities, regular team meetings, sharing of annual business goals, and industry talks. My client is innovative and encourages ideas; and ambition is at the very heartbeat of what they do.

The opportunities within this business are excellent. My client has a strong track record of promoting from within, and they have engendered a real sense of loyalty from their employees. You will make this role your own and create a name for yourself across the business. With a competitive package (up to 40k), up to 26 days holiday (and the opportunity to purchase more), healthcare, pension and gym memberships, this is without doubt one of the most exciting opportunities available.

Interested in progressing your application? Then apply without delay.
