Analytics Manager

An excellent opportunity is available for an Analytics Manager with a most respected financial services business based in Central Birmingham.

About the Analytics Manager role:

You will be responsible for utilising analytical expertise across all risk disciplines to support the assessment and understanding of the risk profile and capital adequacy, support analytical reviews and work to identify and evaluate underlying risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the quantitative and qualitative methodologies to cover the various regulatory capital and stress testing
• Support the use of stress testing frameworks and tools for use in risk decision making and drive consistent implementation of processes
• Deliver development of capital analytics across the business
• Provide analytics to support business reviews to determine common issues in specific portfolios to identify emerging risk.

The Analytics Manager will possess strong experience in risk management or in a banking environment and have a strong quantitative background across SAS, VBA and SQL. You will have a high level understanding of a banking institution P&L, balance sheet, and capital management topics and experience in producing high quality documentation output. You will have excellent communication skills and experience of presenting quantitative topics. You will have a good understanding of stress testing, credit risk, market risk and its processes.
