Gleeson are recruiting for an experienced System Accountant to join a successful, growing inquisitive group. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a driven team where good work is recognised.
The ideal candidate for the System Accountant role will be a Qualified accountant with strong analytical ability, a broad commercial outlook and an appetite for process improvement and systems development.
The System Accountant will be responsible for the following areas:-
* Document, update and improve and improve all existing Finance process and systems.
* To co-ordinate implementation of new Finance systems in conjunction with IT/PMO Director.
* To prepare and implement Lean processing methodologies throughout Finance function.
* To prepare details reports on control environment and systems efficacy for the Audit Committee as required.
* Ad hoc project work
The role of System Accountant would ideally suit a Qualified Accountant, Prince 2 would be an advantage, strong IT skills, advanced excel. You will have experience of improving finance processes, running multiple projects simultaneously with the personality to help drive change.
