My client is a leading local services organisation, working in a niche, but exciting marketplace boasting a client database of some of the most recognised retail brands.
This hands on role leads a small finance team in managing the day to day finance for the business and has close workings with the senior management team, offering insight and support to non-finance business decisions.
You'll lead on all day to day transaction processes, ensuring that billing and invoicing is accurate and that all KPI's are monitored and reported on efficiently. You'll work with the SMT on department budgets and financial objectives, delivering regular analysis. You'll be in charge of producing full monthly management accounts, with all associated variance analysis and commentary and all statutory obligations to include VAT and company returns. In addition, you'll continually seek to improve the outputs, reach and efficiency of the accounts department to ensure a value added service across the business.
Applicants will be fully qualified accountants, with first class communication and leadership skills. You'll naturally be an inquisitive and proactive individual and will enjoy the opportunity to making a difference that will be felt across the business. Good IT skills would are required.
