Internal Auditor

An International Conglomerate is currently seeking a junior Internal Auditor to join their team based in Central London.

The Internal Auditor role will be based in the Global HQ in London, part of a team of 5 based in Central London. The role will cover a breadth of audits (financial and operational) across all geographic remits, international travel is around 20-30% of the time.

The role will include:

• Partner with management to ensure a system is in place which ensures that all major risks of the Group are identified and analysed, on an annual basis
• To plan, organise and carry out the internal audits including the preparation of an audit plan, scheduling and completion of required tasks
• To prepare accurate, fact based reports that present findings in a clear, concise manner
• To report to the Internal Audit Manager and Head of Internal Audit on the policies, programmes and activities of the department
• To coordinate coverage with the external auditors and ensure that each party is not only aware of the other's work but well briefed on areas of concern

For the internal auditor role, you will have an interest within business services companies, experience of working all levels of an organisation and keen to travel internationally. Financial audit (external audit) experience is highly desirable, completed qualifications are not essential (this will be supported internally (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

Desirable skill sets:

• Internal/ External Audit experience
• Ideally some top 10 practice firm training
• Part qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or looking to become qualified.
