Finance & Commercial Manager

The Company

Brewster Pratap are working on behalf of a small/medium sized business who are based in Central Sheffield and are looking to recruit for a newly created position of Finance & Commercial Manager

The Job

This job will report to the Managing Director and will provide leadership and management of the company's legal, financial and legislative compliance activities along with providing accurate finance information for external funders and stakeholders and producing management information for internal Directors and Managers

Manage external banking and auditors relationship

Oversee and approve attachment of earnings payments

Authorise all payments to suppliers and control external invoicing

Control all credit control processes (including any legal proceedings)

Manage submission of quarterly MA to bank

Attend quarterly accounts meeting

Manage external invoice finance provider relationship

Negotiate invoice finance terms, conditions and renewals

Manage relationships with external funders

Manage loan repayment schedule and facility parameters

Deal with HMRC and VAT considerations and inspections

Manage internal and external payroll payments and all associated statutory payments and returns

Effectively manage cash/capital

Redesign internal reporting for Management & Directors

Produce divisional P&L information, monitor performance and provide feedback/recommend areas for improvement

The Person

Qualified or qualified by experience Accountant with experience of working at a senior management level in a small/medium sized business. You will need to be flexible and adaptable and be happy working in a fast paced and changing environment.
