My client is keen to attract a talented Management Accountant to join their company on a permanent basis.The uniqueness of this role is driven by the fact that this is a greenfield start up and production is due to launch in 2017. The business is an offshoot of a global company and whilst they will remain as the parent company this will be its own legal entity, offering a specific product offering.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant is responsible for preparing, developing and analysing financial information to ensure that the Company's management team are able to make informed decisions to ensure the future stability, growth and profitability of the company. A full specification, which is required to fully appreciate the scope of this role, is available upon request.
The ideal candidate will require the following:
- Degree educated
- Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- At least 5 years' proven accounting experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of GAAP
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Conversant with SAP
- Current UK Driving licence
- Able to travel for business within US, Canada and Europe if necessary
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Project
