Internal Auditor

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturing business in Rotherham that has received significant investment over the last few years to aid it's continued growth both in the UK and internationally. They are renowned as one of the main suppliers in their market sector and work with some of the largest retailers across the UK.

They currently have an exciting opportunity for an internal auditor to work closely with the Audit Manager to provide a full and comprehensive audit function for the groups' accounts and it's various sites across the UK. The role is high profile and the output of this function is well recognised and respected by the businesses senior management team. The role will involve some travelling which will also mean the occasional overnight stay if further afield. All trips are of course fully expensed, including fuel, accommodation and meals.

As a brief overview, the role will involve interrogating group accounts, assessing any anomalies and investigating these discrepancies. You will be responsible for creating detailed reports on findings and attending meetings with senior management to present results. It requires somebody who has great attention to detail and focus as well as strong communications skills as you will be liaising with varying levels of management across the business to report findings and gather information.

To be successful for this role you will ideally have the following attributes:-

- Currently studying towards either CIMA or ACCA
- Excellent analytical and data interrogation skills
- Ability to communicate and work with senior management staff
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a large business environment
- Ideally graduate background
