Commercial Finance Manager

This role sits within the Expansion Finance team. It is required to influence key business stakeholders. Key relationships include colleagues from Business Finance, Business Support Centre, Finance, Tax, Treasury, Insurance and Financial Control. In addition they are required to influence Senior Leadership Teams, including Executive members.

The Finance Manager is required to work within the framework of UK accounting practice and comply with business accounting convention, while operating within the business values and behavioural framework.

Job Responsabilities;

• Responsible for the co-ordination of the operational business case for Expansion
• Influence the achievement of the financial budget and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Assess risks & opportunities, develop support mitigation strategies
• Supporting the business in achieving efficiencies and initiatives
• Review and challenge specific Expansion business cases
• Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the accounts
• Work collaboratively in a small team to deliver to tight timescales and organise work-load effectively
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders
• Support the budget, forecasting and long term planning activity

The candidate;

• Qualified Accountant
• Capable of delivering at Advanced Level of the CGMA competency framework as defined; Financial Accounting and Reporting, Cost Management, Business Planning, Management Reporting and Analysis
• Demonstrable business partnering experience, ability to influence key stakeholders
• Experience of working with stakeholders on major, long-term business cases
• Advanced level excel. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Oracle
• Desirable - Oracle ERP and BPC applications
• Experience within a relevant industry would be an advantage
