Role: Senior Management Accountant
Reporting into: Commercial Finance Manager
Keen to step up and work for a rapidly growing and global security services business? Have a background in this sector within finance?
We are currently recruiting a Senior Management Accountant to join a team working for one of the leading security services firms following recent acquisitions and large contract wins.
This will be a broad and commercial role, were you will liaise with key stakeholders both within and outside of finance, as well as working directly with the clients.
You will be required to do the following:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Cash management - manage and maintain summary and detailed cash flow forecasts on a day to day basis, monthly and annual basis
- Compliance with Group Financial Policy and procedure and establishment of additional policy and procedure as required
- Managing and developing the maintenance of key financial 'budget' information for every region to ensure full control of costs through the business
- Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly revision of budgets (i.e. Preparation of quarterly forecasts)
- Management of audit each year
- Will ensure full and complete controls are in place on all business costs and expenditure
- Control and management of all financial systems / applications
- Assistance in due diligence projects (including modelling etc.) and integration following any acquisition
- Development and maintenance of a company 'dashboard' incorporating key business indicators
- Other ad-hoc work and projects as directed by the business
You need to have the following prerequisites:
- Qualified Accountant (min 2-3 years)
- Management Accounts experience
- Management Experience
- Highly commercial with some business partnering experience working with clients
- You must be from a Security Services background or similar organisation
This is a progressive role with the opportunity to move into a Commercial Finance Manager role in 12-18 months!
