Head of Finance

A fantastic opportunity for a qualified Management Accountant to join a small growing Media agency.

My client, an exciting small Media company based in London, are currently recruiting for Management Accountant. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a new and inspiring company that promises ambitious growth. This role would suit someone who has aspirations to become a Finance Manager and grow a team beneath them.

They currently have an outsourced bookkeeper and their VP of Operations is currently heavily involved in budgeting and forecasting but the idea is that this new recruit with take full responsibility for the finance function therefore needs to be happy to take charge and be very hands on initially.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Improve processes and controls by putting in place budgeting, forecasting and tracking processes
• Provide one-off analysis and regular reporting to the CEO and the senior team to support business decisions and strategy
• Undertake projects to improve the use of our capital and resources (e.g., VAT optimisation, R&D Tax Credits and working capital optimisation)

You will be a fully qualified accountant and have a passion for digital media and working with great products and people. Current industry experience is ideal however I will consider people still in practice doing a mix of Audit and Accounts preparation.
