Your new company
This is an independent practice headquartered in Ilkley, with offices in Leeds. This is an agile and dynamic practice with a focus on modern accounting methodology and technology, working closely with clients to improve client awareness and ensuring total transparency.

Your new role
This is a new position within the practice, reporting directly into the Senior Manager and with a dotted line into the Managing Partner. You will be responsible for managing your own workload and potentially a small portfolio of your own clients as well as support the Senior Manager. You will be involved in:

- Preparing accounts
- Working on some compliance assignments including VAT and Payroll
- Working closely with the partners on project work
- Preparing detailed and thorough management reports for financial statements.

You will also assist with on-boarding clients through a specific cloud accounting platform.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a minimum of AAT qualified and will have experience in all of the areas covered above. You will be comfortable working as part of a small team to ensure the productivity and profitability of the business is optimised and will be competent talking to clients either face to face, over the phone or via email to impart advice and to request information.
