Head of Financial Reporting

Key accountabilities will include ensuring that all financial reporting requirements are met, working with the Finance Director to enhance the finance function, ensuring that statutory requirements are satisfied in accordance with set timetables, presenting variance analysis and commercial commentary to senior stakeholders, undertaking monthly reviews and implementing robust balance sheet controls, adapting financial reporting to evolving business requirements, liaising successfully with both internal and external auditors, leading a sizeable finance team and undertaking ad hoc project work as required.

The successful candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACA or ACCA) with a strong financial reporting background and experience of working within a blue chip business. Applicants must be highly numerate with excellent communication skills and proven team leadership experience. A strong working knowledge of both IFRS and UK GAAP is essential.
