Commercial Finance Manager

Global High Street Fashion Retailer are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager to join their newly created Trading Finance team.

Based out of their London head office, this role will be instrumental in delivering a robust Buy budget process with clear insight into the stores, web, international and brand plans.

If you're from a retail background (preferred but not fundamental), ACCA/ ACA/CIMA qualified with significant post qualification experience we'd love to hear from you.

What will you do as Commercial Finance Manager?

• Act as a Business Partner to key stake holders to ensure delivery of strategic business plans and have the ability to challenge constructively when required
• Take control of sales, margin and stock from a commercial perspective
• Take ownership the buy budget process ensuring stock is managed effectively
• Own and deliver monthly sales, margin and stock budgeting and forecast processes
• Manage system processes across financial and commercial planning projects
• Influence with trading decisions, stock purchases and strategic plans
• Assist with ad hoc analysis when required

What you will need to succeed as an Commercial Finance Manager?

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong strategic thinker
• Previous experience of a commercial finance role
• Retail experience desirable but not essential
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
