Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders in implementing the project and provide direction as necessary with the overall objective to ensure that BOE/Reg reporting is delivered through the platform.
- The role holder will also ensure that UK BOE/Reg reporting is in line with BOE/Reg requirements and so the role holder will need extensive knowledge of the various elements of BOE/Reg reporting
- Supporting new Ring fencing reporting requirements and support BAU reporting as required.
- The role holder must be able to analyse complex data sets and assist in the design and testing of the new mapping rules which drive the reporting layer.
- The role holder will also be required to help define, document and implement the new target operating model..
- The role holder will be required to engage effectively with Finance, Finance Change, IT, Risk and other stakeholders.
- The role holder will require a proactive approach and be able to challenge the status quo and drive through change.
- There are three roles being interviewed for. A strong candidate who also can demonstrate experience managing teams will be considered for a more senior place in the team.
Key Skills
- Qualified accountant e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
- Very good knowledge of BOE and other Regulatory reporting and accounting requirements.
- Experience of managing reporting process to UK regulators against demanding timescales.
- Experience in analysis, testing and remediation of complex data sets.
- Strong appreciation of change delivery combined with experience in defining and embedding new process and controls in a BOE/Regulatory reporting environment
- Proven skills in liaising with SMEs, Finance and Risk teams across multiple disciplines
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills, whilst able to succeed in an environment with complex subject matter and demanding implementation plans.
- Comprehensive banking product knowledge.
- Understanding of the complex and demanding data requirements and specifications needed to support financial/ regulatory disclosures.
- Pro-active approach to process improvement, change management and ability to challenge the status quo.
