I am currently working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant.
My client is based in Bolton and are able to offer a number of benefits including; flexible working hours, 26 days holiday per annum - rising yearly, on site parking, an excellent working environment with a number of facilities.
This role will be a perfect fit for somebody who is either part or fully AAT qualified, is passionate about a career in accounting and has a high degree of accounting experience.
Job Description:
- Ensuring accuracy of of financial information
- Accurately monitor and forecast revenue and capital budgets - discuss with budget holders
- Reconcile data between different elements of the financial packages
- Accurately prepare and reconcile balances for the production of final accounts for numerous business entities
- Provide basic financial advice to budget holders within the business
- Prepare budget estimates and other monitoring information in line with appropriate deadlines
- Calculation of service charges
- Day to day query resolution
- Support and provide information to the principal accounts
Requirements:
- Part or fully AAT qualified
- Excellent level of numeracy skills
- Ability to produce accurate and high quality reports
- Lateral way of thinking
- Ability to multi task
- Excellent organisational skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Strong Excel and IT skills ( V Look ups/ Pivot tables)
