A leading, globally recognised retail business is looking to recruit talent in their Global Controllership team. This is a key role within the Group Reporting and Technical Accounting team (as part of the Global Controllership team) where you will be instrumental in delivering the US GAAP centre of technical excellence for the international business group and ensuring all reporting complies with accounting standards.
The key aspects of the role include;
- Support the US Technical Reporting Manager and VP Global Reporting with accounting policies and investigating technical accounting matters
- Forging excellent working relationships across the Group and with other departments, liaising with and advising senior stakeholders frequently
- Deliver US GAAP training across the Global Controllership team
It is essential you are confident reporting under US GAAP and have a high degree of technical accounting knowledge. Knowledge around SEC regulations is advantageous but not essential.
