Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller

12 month contract – possibility of permanent role on completion of contract,

Our exclusive client, a well-established, successful international service provider in the Warrington area is looking to recruit an Interim Finance Manager / Financial Controller to join their business for a minimum period of 12 months.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager / Financial Controller will assist with the transition of a recent restructure and look after the finance function on a daily basis.

With responsibility for a team of 4, the Finance Manager will manage the month end process, producing monthly management accounts accompanied with commentary and analysis.  You will also be responsible for the budget and forecasting processes, ensuring that all reporting fits within group and corporate guidelines.

Other duties will include, consistently developing existing processes, providing insightful management information and performance analysis that will help shape and support business growth.

As the business enters a significant period of change, the successful candidate will also be tasked with assisting with the implementation and roll out of an ERP system across the group, ensuring successful post implementation and providing “super user” status to the Finance and Operational teams across the business.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent).
• Relevant experience within a similar environment and managing a small team.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Experience of ERP implementation advantageous but not essential.
• Up to date working knowledge of UK / US GAAP preferred.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills are required.
