Assistant CFO

Your new company
A leading reinsurance company is looking to hire an assistant CFO with a view to becoming CFO within the next 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop into number one in finance within a reputable reinsurance business.

Your new role
You will be working closely with the CFO to manage the finance function London. You will also be developing the finance team with a wide range of responsibilities. You will have oversight of Lloyd's regulatory returns and the statutory reporting for the business. You will be interacting with senior stakeholders and looking strategically at the bigger picture and the impact finance can have on the business.


What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant and have experience in the Lloyd's market, in a syndicate or managing agency, with the desire and drive to become CFO within 18 months. You will need a good understanding of statutory accounts and Lloyd's returns with the gravitas to engage with senior stakeholders and achieve buy in from key members of the business both within finance and the wider company.
