Management Accountant

New Management Accountant Role for Well-Known Manufacturer in Stockport area. (Ideally from Practice)

Your new company
The company are a well known manufacturer in the Stockport area. Due to a vacancy in the team, they are looking to recruit a management accountant to report directly into the financial controller.

Your new role
The role will consist of you preparing management reports along with variance profit analysis reports, assisting with the month-end process, performing balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining nominal & cost ledgers, creating performance reports, getting involved with standard cost updates & stock valuation and weekly sales reporting. The role is extremely broad and you will get experience in everything from working with & presenting to the managing director to data input.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to either be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a finalist. You will ideally be from practice and be looking for a first move into industry. This is a brilliant opportunity for any first time mover. Lastly, due to the broad aspect of the role you will need to demonstrate the ability communicate throughout all levels of the business.

What you'll get in return
