The role 

The Johnson Supply chain is responsible for producing and supplying Johnson medicines worldwide. The Product Management department is responsible for evaluating and integrating new business opportunities, launching new products successfully, ensuring the availability of our medicines and optimizing our supply chain throughout the lifecycle of our products.

The mission of the JSC Global Planning department is “ensuring the availability of the client's medicines for their patients through implementing and applying leading planning processes across the end-to-end supply chain”.

In the frame of their Olympus project they are looking for temporary support in their Global Planning team. The team is spread across 4 locations in Belgium, Ireland, Switzerland and the United States and is responsible for the supply planning of API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) and Small Molecules (SM).

Medior Analyst API SM Planning:

Due to the fact that a part of their planners will contribute to the Olympus project, they are looking for somebody who can support their department by taking up various activities.

Your function includes;

• Performing certain core tasks in Master Production Scheduling, Detailed Scheduling, Material requirements planning of master data

• Running reports from OMP and SAP to do analysis and to ensure reporting to management and other departments

• Creation and management of our product versions, formulas and Bill of Materials in the SAP system. This data is the basis for the MPS plan (Master plan with a 3-year horizon), ordering raw materials and materials, creation of process orders, as well as product cost calculations. The input for this data is a collaboration with the process engineer.

• Management and alignment of the data in the various modules of the global planning system(OMP Planning tool)

• Actively improving and developing solutions to optimize the activities, not only in your own department but across the entire process. These improvements may be both process and system related.

• Supporting the improvements in terms of logistic flows, customer satisfaction and cross-functional initiatives (detailed scheduling, MPS, QA, distribution,).

• Overtaking other tasks and activities (temporarily) within the planning group as a result of SME activities of other colleagues within the planning department.

Qualifications

Education;

• Education level

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic direction or relevant experience

• Supply Chain certification (such as APICS) is an advantage.

Experience

• Experience in Supply Chain

• Experience in implementing and working with ERP(SAP) & Advanced Planning Systems (APS/APO/OMP+) is an advantage

Knowledge and Skills

• You have excellent analytical and problem solving skills in which you always consider the wider context.

• You are able to work simultaneously on various initiatives in a matrix surrounding where priorities can quickly change and are subject to tight deadlines.

• You able to work in a team.

• You are able to develop excellent relationships and influence others without direct authority, build consensus and work with people from different departments and different levels.

• You have a broad interest in supply chain, finance, organization, e.a.

• You are fluent in English.
