In this important role, you’ll take hands-on responsibility for the purchase ledger, supervise the firm’s outsourced legal accounts and cashiering service, as well as preparing the monthly management accounts.

You will complete debt collection tasks, VAT returns and manage the firm’s workplace pension scheme and payroll providers. Additionally, you’ll train new starters in the use of our client’s case management and financial system.

Your other duties will involve:

- Managing the leaving process for Lawyers

To be considered, you must:

- Be a qualified accountant

Highly-motivated and hands-on, as the Financial Controller, you will be a confident communicator who can work well under pressure. You’ll also be highly organised, detail-oriented and adept at building strong working relationships.

Previous experience of conducting internal training would be beneficial to your application. Experience of working with outsourced partners, such as payroll, or the workplace pension scheme would also be advantageous.
