Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

THE COMPANY:

The Brewster Pratap Recruitment Group are recruiting an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Manager for a 12 month contract for a large, national retail chain based in Sheffield City Centre

THE JOB:

The role is to support the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with financial information.

• All areas of the annual budget and periodic reforecasts
• Monthly analysis of budget or forecast assumptions against actual figures
• Ownership of key EBITDA and cash improvement initiatives
• Delivery of regular financial forecasts
• Ownership of the maintenance and development of the Anaplan forecasting system
• Ownership of data accuracy and integrity
• Management of all of the activities of the FP&A assistant
• Project managing all areas of an inter-departmental corporate budget and forecast proces
• Building robust financial models and preparing clear and informative presentation material
• Building rapport with the senior Executive team to aid information exchange
• Supporting and challenging managers across the business to drive continual improvements in business performance
• Ensuring all key initiatives are monitored with necessary feedback provided to drive the right decisions

THE PERSON:

• Full accountancy qualification, CIMA, ACCA or ACA
• Post qualification experience in a large company
• Proven ability to lead and develop people
• Commercial acumen and an up to date knowledge of retail trends
• Professional communication and presentation skills
• Technical system skills for example Excel
