Divisional Financial Controller

As a market leader within the Business Services industry, this group has seen continued and successful expansion through acquisitive and organic growth creating a 6-month assignment for a graduate qualified accountant, from a Big 4, Top 10 or FTSE environment with proven experience of Project Finance accounting and ideally the asset management sector, to undertake a Financial Controller role with responsibility for a key business entity. Supporting the Finance Director and various clients, your brief includes:

•Reviewing monthly P&L & cash analysis & variance reporting for multiple projects
•Delivering current & relevant financial data to stakeholders for project companies
•Reviewing financial model updates & monitoring cash flow forecasts
•Managing monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts & annual business plans production
•Overseeing development of portfolio project financial processes comprising budgeting, forecasting, management & financial data including financial model updates
•Managing Portfolio team to provide investor & financial services to investors & projects
•Driving financial analysis & review of external projects
•Management of multiple year-end audit processes for projects
•Identifying & supporting the implementation of Financial Value Enhancements

As a 2:1 or 1st class graduate qualified accountant, ideally from the Big 4, Top 10 or a FTSE environment, you will demonstrate significant technical accounting & financial reporting skills, evidence of supporting senior stakeholders and a track record of driving team, functional and divisional improvements. The role demands strong knowledge of asset management and complex financial models.
