Liquidity Reporting

  • Support for daily and monthly BASEL III LCR and NSFR monitoring and reporting including review of regulatory reporting produced by offshore teams
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all liquidity reporting submissions made by UK Finance including provision of insightful analysis and interpretation of results for the PRA and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure liquidity reporting submissions are in compliance with Group approved policies through close collaboration with Group Liquidity Regulatory Reporting and Group Treasury Policy
  • Drive development and maintenance of robust controls to support current and future liquidity reporting processes e.g. control and reconciliation against the ledger, automation of NSFR reporting
  • Strong focus on systems improvement and process upgrades including working with project teams on resolving current data issues, liquidity reporting enhancements, testing and review of liquidity reporting system upgrades
  • Finance analysis support for global initiative to implement a monthly NSFR reporting model

ALCO Reporting

  • Improve end-user computing spreadsheets functionality and performance for reporting
  • Work to cease existing targeted processes and end-user computing spreadsheets including analysis to eliminate dependencies on unsupported reporting processes
  • Develop intelligence and process for insightful business commentary on balance sheet variances to be handed over to the Finance Shared Services Centre
  • Collaboration with global colleagues to implement a global process ensuring consistency and capturing country-specific requirements

Budgeting and Forecasting
 

  • Participate in initiatives on Funding Plan templates and processes
  • Work on developing a sustainable funding plan forecasting process under guidance
  • Provide review and supervision of reporting produced by offshore teams

Requirements:

  • Degree level education or equivalent
  • Qualified accountant
  • Understanding and experience of LCR and NSFR
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage a busy workload
  • Ability to communicate well with all levels, including colleagues in other countries and the Shared Services team offshore
  • Ability to meet deadlines, and deliver insightful commentary whilst under pressure
  • Demonstration of management information skills and ability to enhance processes
  • Understanding, knowledge and experience of Financial Markets products and liquidity management would be an advantage
  • Banking experience is essential
