Management accountant is a sought by a City-based Asset Manager in order to support the continued growth of the business. The finance team are looking for a nearly or recently fully qualified accountant who is self-motivated, ambitious and is excited about working in a growing business. You will have a wide scope of responsibility and gain exposure to the wider day to day operations of the business.
Main responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and quarterly regulatory returns.
- Review monthly accounts for local GAAP and IFRS variances
- Maintain and improve the company's forecasting model on Microsoft Excel, adapting the forecast model to run scenarios
- Management of the VAT returns process
- Conduct variance analysis
- Create and assess financial statements and budget documents.
- General monthly MI reporting to various stakeholders
- Stakeholder management
