My client is recruiting a Finance Manager for Emerging Markets Technology and Enabling Functions. This person will partner with all the Enabling function leaders in the Emerging Markets and Corporate Functions.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive the growth of our Emerging Markets businesses in China, Brazil, South Africa and India and support the delivery of initiatives which make an impact on learner outcomes.

Description
Act as a key business partner and advisor to the CTO Growth and Growth Enabling Functions and their Management team advising on all financial matters related to Growth Technology and Enabling Function budgets and spend including operating costs, procurement, and capital projects related to infrastructure & operations. Also provide finance support to other Growth enabling functions e.g. Growth HR, Growth Finance.
Support preparation of financial plans and forecasts for Enabling Functions in the Growth Market.
- Review monthly results and provide insightful analysis on them.
- Find the critical insights in the data and help lead the business thinking and results through this.
- Provide leadership and professional development to an analyst.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decision making
- Support decisions on expenditures, procurement, investments, ensuring they are measured against financial targets
- Identify and address operational improvement and cost opportunities
- Review the GEF's standard KPIs. Provide effective analysis on all variances and work with the leadership to drive improvements in them.
- Provide consistent and extensive collaboration within finance, particularly Finance Controls, and across the business.
- Ensure the businesses anti-bribery and corruption practices are in place, operating effectively and are in compliance.
Profile
- It's desirable the candidate is ACA qualified (all equivalent). Other professional finance qualifications maybe considered.
- Relevant experience gained in a global matrix organisation.
- Ability to explain complex financial principles to non-finance personnel.
- Ability to assess alternative strategies in terms of benefits and risks, select the most appropriate strategy and implement it.
- Ability to establish an environment where finance talent is developed.
- Leads team to deliver world class finance service including strategic planning and risk management.
- Be an ambassador for the finance department within and outside the organisation.
- Ability to work effectively across the various Lines of Business, Geographies and across the Enabling Functions.
- Commercial and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to spot the key drivers of the results and communicate it in a concise, but impactful way.
Job Offer
The client is offering in the region of £60,000- £65,000 plus bonus and benefits.
