Responsibility for technical accounting, consolidation and financial reporting for the entire Festivals and Touring group, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance of numbers reported into the parent company, by both internal and external book-keeping departments that serve any of of their festivals and touring businesses.
Responsibility for overall accounting compliance for all festivals and touring, and for communication of accounting policies to key stakeholders.

Description
What you'll be doing…
Financial Reporting
- Ensure completeness and accuracy in the numbers reported to Global Radio of each entity under control or joint control of the business
- Develop a reporting pack to obtain financial information from external bookkeepers and maintain visibility over external reporting functions
- Co-ordination of the month end close process by WD5
- Work with Financial Reporting and FP&A teams to ensure common understanding of results
- Develop reporting and analytical tools, which enable improved reporting and collection of results
- Develop an understanding of performance measures relevant to the business and utilize this information to ensure accurate and consistent reporting
Finance policies and processes
- Challenge current processes to be more streamlined and automated
- Work with other Finance Managers to challenge existing accounting policies
- Adapt policies and processes in line with requirements, maintaining the control environment
- Ensure work produced complies with group accounting policies
Finance transformation
- Look for tools to develop and improve presentation of the group's result
- Provide recommendations to streamline and create efficiency's across internal and external reporting functions
Other Compliance
- Work with Global Radio to ensure statutory accounts are prepared and filed on a timely basis where necessary
- Provide information wherever necessary to aid in submitting returns to internal and external parties
Profile
What we expect of you…
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA)
- You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You will have experience working with senior management and the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- You must be obsessive about the detail and have excellent analytical skills
- You will have experience of Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel (formulae, pivot tables, macros)
- You'll need be to be a problem solver who can think laterally and deliver results under pressure as well as fulfilling audit & compliance requirements
- Be confident and personable with a proactive approach, be totally self-motivating and able to work under your own initiative
- Ability to build relationships quickly and engage with staff on all levels
- Be honest and reliable with a flexible attitude to a fast moving company
- Have a passion for events, music or entertainment
Job Offer
The successful candidate will be offered a group financial reporting accountant role in Central London on a salary of £45000 - 50000
