Your new firm
One of the UK's Top 20 Accountancy Firms is seeking an ambitious and talented newly qualified audit professional to join their Manchester office. This firm is ran independently but has global reach via it membership to a network of independent accounting and consulting firms. The firm operate across a number of different offices employing over 400 staff and provide partner led services to a range of businesses and individuals.

Your new job
As an audit and accounts senior you will take responsibility for running group audits and the preparation of financial statements including consolidations and cash flow statements. You will work with a broad range of clients including partnerships, trusts, professional sole traders and limited companies with turnovers up to £200 million. 60% of your role will be weighted towards senioring audit assignments and the remainder of your time you will be preparing financial statements, producing draft corporation tax computations and undertaking ad hoc projects for both the firm and your clients.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who has trained either within a Top 10 or reputable independent accountancy firm. Ideally you will have gained exposure to both audit and accounting assignments and have worked with a wide range of clients in size and sector. Due to the nature of the client base within the firm, audit experience with owner managed businesses of £10 - £100m turnover is preferred. As this is a client facing role you must be able to demonstrate a passion for delivering quality client service and ensuring you can effectively lead and motivate a team. You will also be an ambitious individual who seeks self development and can work cooperatively within a team to support the firm's goals.
