An exciting position has become available to join a growing independent TV & Film production company as an Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Accounts/Finance who is seeking to work within the media industry. Previous experience in Accounts Payable is essential and an understanding of Receivables/Credit Control would be beneficial preferably from the media environment. The client are looking for driven and energetic candidates to fit with their lively team.
The role includes:
- Full maintenance and reconciliation of the purchase ledger
- Preparing Payment runs
- Chasing full invoice authorisation for payments
- Updating Royalty reporting to third parties
- Reconciliation of supplier statements and management of relationships
- Posting of purchase invoices including review of allocations/approvals
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Administration of purchase ledger and hard copy invoice records
- Assist with Petty Cash and Credit Card postings/reconciliations for all corporate floats/cards
- Ad-hoc reporting/accounting
The candidate:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience preferably in media
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work flexibly
