Finance Assistant - Worcestershire - Perm - £21-24kpa. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress and develop your skills and experience. My client is looking for talented individuals who are currently studying there AAT and want the experience to develop and use their Technical skills.

Responsibilitys Include:-

Produce sales invoices and statements and send out to customers.

Ensure incoming invoices are authorised for payment before processing.

Accurately coding invoices with correct nominal code and posting onto Sage 50 accounting system.

Reconciling supplier account balances to statements and dealing with queries/discrepancies as they arise.

Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and to agreed payment terms.

Process BACS payment files for importing into the online banking platform.

Post and reconcile petty cash transactions.

Reconciliation of Sterling and Euro bank accounts.

Posting of all authorised purchase invoices, reconciling all supplier statements and managing all purchase ledger queries.

Producing customer statements and credit control.

Summarise, input and reconcile credit card statements and employee expense claims.

Posting of journals as required eg monthly payroll journal.

Maintaining Fixed Asset Register, calculating monthly depreciation and any profit or loss on disposals of fixed assets.

Reconciliation of stock movement during the month.

Carrying out variance analysis on the monthly figures.

Completion and submission of monthly EC Sales Listing.

Undertaking projects as directed and any other administrative tasks required.

Experience of a similar role essential, preferably with experience in Sage and or SAP.
