The Role

 Ensure management are regularly supplied with the appropriate quality and quantity of financial and business data to enable them to effectively manage the business.
 Maintain full accounting and business records for the business in accordance with policies and procedures, local legislation and fiscal requirements.
 Responsibility for the preparation of Statutory accounts for national and international subsidiaries.
 Report on a monthly basis to management, the actual results for the month and forecast information as defined by company financial timetable and requirements.
 To continually drive process and system improvements and over time most effective and efficient for the business (e.g. devolved budget and modernisation of existing systems).
 To develop more scenario planning and investigate what if scenarios to aid senior management with business planning.
Provide leadership to the Finance department through exhibiting the skills and attributes of a leader in the finance team.
 Responsible for the development of the Finance staff to optimise employee performance and develop potential.

The Profile:
 Qualified Accountant (ACA qualified with training in practice preferred)
 Strong academic record.
 Additional experience of working within an accounts function, specifically showing accounts preparation work.
 Demonstrable experience of driving process improvements and developing effective reporting.
 Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner across the business at all levels.
 Capable of implementing change and influencing the wider business.
 Strong excel skills with the ability to build and run models is highly advantageous.
