I am currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for my Glasgow-based client within the technology sector. The role is on a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will be responsible for the production of month-end management accounts whilst providing support to the team with trial balance and balance sheet reconciliations. The organisation are also keen to maximise the accuracy of their reporting procedures and you will take a lead role in this. In addition you will also review budget vs actual and compile reports on this.
In order to be successful in your application is it essential to have the following:
- Accountancy qualification
- Strong experience with statutory accounts
- Knowledge of financial modelling
- An understanding of UK and US GAAP reporting standards
In return you will receive a basic salary of £48,000-£52,000 in addition to a competitive rewards scheme.
