My client, based near London Victoria, is recruiting for a Part-Time Project Accountant to join them due to a large investment project.
They require someone to work 2 days per week but consideration will be given to alternate working patterns.
They are looking for someone who has a Commercial focus and an analytical mind with the ability to shift priorities and operate in a fast paced, constantly changing environment. As Project Accountant you will provide financial, cost control and analytical support to the business with key responsibilities including:
• Provision of accurate financial information and keep detailed financial records of the project costs
• Giving financial support to the Project Director and Head of Finance for this business unit
• Assessing financial risks and contributing to the risk register where appropriate
• Reviewing project costs and efficiencies
• Supporting the technical team in refining forecast accuracy and documenting accordingly
• Ensuring contractual terms are being met in transactions with external parties
• Producing financial models to manage costs for the project
Key requirements: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with relevant cost control experience.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact with senior financial and non-financial personnel.
