A Luxury retail business based in central London is looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to join the business and help continue the growth of the business. The company specialises in bespoke luxury furniture and home ware which they supply throughout Europe. They have grown by 50% in the past year and are looking to continue that trend in the coming year by adding a new Group Financial Controller to be the catalyst for driving future development. The company is PE backed and is proving to be a great success in its respected market.

Your new role

As the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible the day to day accounting within the business managing a streamlined finance team that carries out all finance duties in house. The hands on nature of this role will give the Group Financial Controller commercial exposure to liaising with senior stakeholders in the business and consulting on strategic decisions.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be ACA/ACCA qualified accountant with experience in product focused industries such as retail and FMCG. The ability to manage a strong team and build on its development will be crucial as the company has expectations to really become a market leader. The company operates on an international scale so previous experience of liaising with foreign offices will be fondly looked upon.
