Financial Analyst

Market leading international consultancy company with just under 20 offices across the globe and recruiting for a bright and ambitious finance analyst to join their London HQ. You will be business partnering across functions and be expected to be articulate and well versed in market forces and strategic planning for the business.

You will have an integral role within a business that puts finance at the heart of the business and will provide analysis to aide the business on almost all decisions. This role is ideal for someone looking to fast track their career and get into a thorough business partnering position and have interaction with business heads.

Financial Analyst

£38,000 - £43,000

City of London

Duties include:

* Identify areas where the business is strong and where it needs improvement (data trends of market sectors)
* Analysing territories and markets, in particular new areas where the business could move
* Assessing risks and monitoring their developments
* Provide analytical support, review and commentary to senior managers and project leads
* Preparation of monthly group financial dashboard report
* Preparation and analysing the quarterly group market sector report
* Preparing, analysing and reviewing other periodic analytical reports (work winning, utilisation, and project margins)
* Working alongside managers to provide day-to-day analytical support to the business to achieve corporate goals and objectives
* Preparation and analysis of the group consolidated position during the annual business planning cycle and quarterly divisional financial re-forecasting process
* Supporting the divisions and corporate teams during the preparation of the annual budgets
* Working with project heads to set out a pricing structure for bids
* Calculation of employee GBR's (group break-even rates)
* Attending monthly budget meetings with corporate heads



Qualifications are important and the client is looking for someone with a strong proven academic background, however they are willing to take part qualified candidates as well as qualified. You must have been in a role where you have managed multiple tasks at one time and be comfortable answering tough questions from senior managers.
