Due to an internal move, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance manager to join a division of a FTSE listed business.
Based out of their Luton Offices this role will represent finance at the weekly trading meetings and ensuring that all targets are up to date and reflect the latest view of the departments requirements. To support this you will drive high quality MI and ensure that reporting is provided at the right level of detail and granularity to drive optimal decision making.

You will work closely with the commercial finance functions for the divisions to reflect their latest capacities, ensure year-on-year targeting is appropriate and reflecting of one-off occurrences and trends.

Additionally, you will be responsible for reporting on the performance of e-commerce, retail websites and third party relationships with a differentiation between products. You will make recommendations to the business on the basis of your performance analysis, to include views on discounting, commission incentives, overrides and other key selling tools. You will also ensure there is robust financial process on reporting these to the p&l.

The successful applicant in this role will also be expected to support the Head of Finance in aiding the business to deliver its strategic goals through the adhoc analysis of key initiatives and support of business cases to enhance delivery.

To drive the correct strategy you will also maintain an up to date view of net costs across all channels, with an understanding of the variables that affect it. You will also be responsible for producing the monthly operational KPIs for board packs.

As a minimum requirement you will hold a recognised accountancy qualification and have substantial experience of working withing a large business.
