Key deliverable for this role include:

  • Technical evaluation of accounting and proposed transactions including CAPEX, M&A, across the Group under US GAAP
  • Analyse and document the impact of revised standards on internal and external accounting policies
  • Assist the Group Reporting team to ensure that international businesses' reporting in Group's SEC reporting complies with USGAAP and SEC regulations

Our client is a global brand with a US parent, operating in both retail and wholesale pharmaceutical products and health care FMCG.

Description

The role will involve:

Support the US technical reporting manager and global reporting with accounting policy development

Evaluate and present technical accounting matters and resolve queries pragmatically

Build excellent internal and global relationships across the Group

Assist the Group Reporting team to ensure that international businesses' reporting in Group's SEC reporting (10-K/10-Q) complies with US GAAP and SEC regulations

Maintain and update of internal and external accounting policies

Deliver USGAAP training across the Global Controllership team, other Group departments and develop the intranet as a tool to share information

Analyse, document and implement revised leasing and revenue recognition standards

Profile

The successful candidate must demonstrate recent exposure to:

USGAAP

Group Reporting

Centre of Excellence exposure

Strong technical accounting

Cognos or similar
