Key Duties:
- Oversee the production of Management and Statutory Accounts
- Manage a team 3 qualified Accountants and 1 PQ accountant and play a key part in their development
- Be responsible for process improvement, implementation and development (a key driver for a growing business)
- Support all aspects within the portfolio, including assessing new companies to be acquired (due diligence) and preparing forecast accounts and supporting vendor due diligence for companies to be divested.
- Review and approve management and audited accounts as necessary, including overseeing all aspects of consolidation.
- Provide technical advice to the teams as necessary, and ensure that the use of advisors is well managed and cost effective.
- Ad hoc projects
Experience Needed
- ACCA/CIMA or ACA Qualified with at least 4 years PQE
- Ideally from a growing SME background (If not from financial services need to have good knowledge of financial instruments as this will be tested)
- Handle working in a high pressured environment
- Confident in communicating at all levels
- Ideally with a background in Audit (DOES NOT NEED TO BE BIG 4)
- Ability to prioritise
