My client is one of the leading accountancy firms and the largest professional services firms by both revenue and number of professionals. My client provides audit, tax, consulting, enterprise risk and financial advisory services with more than 200,000 professionals globally as well as being one of the largest privately owned companies in the United Kingdom.

Description

In your new role your responsibilities will be wide-ranging and you will be expected oversee the preparation of annual financial accounts. The role will also require the successful applicant to liaise with the company's Senior Partners and CFO. Additionally you will be asked to:

• Work as part of the management team to improve Business Processes and Information flows.

• Be comfortable with WIP reporting

• Monthly Management Accounts Pack & Board Presentation.

• Budgeting and Forecast reporting

• Annual Statutory Reporting and Audit Support

• Engage with a variety of Senior Partners

• Manage a finance division providing a strong base of support for staff

Profile

In your new role you will have to be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with previous exposure of producing consolidated accounts. You will also show an ability to work with a commercial mind-set and provide value-adding insight and commentary in a large international business. Strong interpersonal skills will be essential when liaising with senior non-financial stakeholders. Whilst management skills will be needed to maximise the performance of staff

Job Offer

The offer to the successful Financial Controller will be in the range of £60,000.
